Building A Discipleship Culture
At KFC we are passionate about Loving God and Loving People. One way we show both our love of God and our love for people is by working with his Holy Spirit to see people discipled to faith, and to have a broader missional impact in the community around us.
This is something we often struggle with and so it can be easy to leave it to others. One of our values however is that of Growth – stretching ourselves into areas that are new and/or challenging so we reach our potential, both individually and corporately. We want to see our congregation grow and bear fruit that will last and that will ultimately build his Kingdom.
As we all begin to develop and grow disciples around us within our areas of influence a cultural shift towards missional discipleship can occur within the broader church community. This leads to disciples who make disciples who make disciples, making a shift from ministry activities and programs to missional impact and growth…just as Jesus has asked us to do in the Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20).
Coaching clusters are operating on a fortnightly basis, where members will learn principles, processes and practices that can help us see measurable qualitative and quantitative growth in personal discipleship, and missional impact. We will have times to share our struggles and successes together, pray together and engage in a life of missional discipleship for ourselves.

Shaped
Every single person is created differently, and God has done that on purpose so that we all fit together, each with our own role to play. How do you discover what that role is for you, though?
The Shaped course is designed to help you in the discipleship process. As you grow as a Christian and begin to understand the plan and purpose that God has for you, it helps to first understand yourself and how God created you. Shaped is a tool to help you take the next step in your discipleship and growth as a Christian.
The Shaped course runs over two weeks, exploring your Spiritual Gifts, your desires, your abilities, your personality, your experiences and your dreams, to build a picture that can be helpful in determining your direction in God.

Internships are run in connection with a registered training organisation, and involve a combination of class work and practical, hands-on involvement within the walls of the church setting.
