Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, typically run over eleven weeks. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes – you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and good conversation.
We run Alpha courses on a regular basis at Kingborough Family Church. Would you like to attend the next one? If so, please provide your details below and we’ll make sure to let you know when we’re starting up!
Every single person is created differently, and God has done that on purpose so that we all fit together, each with our own role to play. How do you discover what that role is for you, though?
The Shaped course is designed to help you in the discipleship process. As you grow as a Christian and begin to understand the plan and purpose that God has for you, it helps to first understand yourself and how God created you. Shaped is a tool to help you take the next step in your discipleship and growth as a Christian.
The Shaped course runs over two weeks, exploring your Spiritual Gifts, your desires, your abilities, your personality, your experiences and your dreams, to build a picture that can be helpful in determining your direction in God.
Would you like to come along to the next Shaped course? If so, send your details through the form below and we’ll make sure to keep you informed.
Knowing what you’re called to do is only the beginning of the journey in Christianity. Once you’ve figured that part out, the next step is to start walking in that path. At Kingborough Family Church, we don’t want to only help you find your place in the Kingdom of God, but we want to empower you to step up and take hold of everything that God has for you to do with your life.
As a family-focused church, it is also a part of our beliefs that serving in the life of the church is a natural outworking of the Christian life. This is why we have built a variety of avenues for you to volunteer in the life of Kingborough Family Cburch, including:
- Service Planning
- Music and Production
- Pastoral Care
- Special Events
- Leading a Life Group
- And more!
Volunteering at Kingborough Family Church isn’t just about what you can contribute, but it’s also about how we can invest in one another to see everyone grow deeper in their relationship with God and in their ministry.
